- ॐ गं गणपतये नमः
- oṃ : opening of the mantra, connection to the subtle planesls
- gaṃ : root sound (bija), specific expression of the creative Verb
- gaṇapataye : name of a speccific aspect of the Ganesha deity, one who removes obstacles
- namaḥ : projection of the mantra in the form of reverence to the previous principles
- Ganesha represents the energies of prosperity, grace and compassion.
- Manifesting at the same time sweetness, intelligence and wisdom, he is the ruler of the elements (Ganapati) and the alphabet associated with them.
- He relates to the first Muladhara chakra, to stability and to surrendering of conceited ego (symbolized by its mount, a rat)
